Projects

I'm always building something. Check out the projects I'm working on below.

Current Projects

These projects are under active development or are things I still consider current.

Hey Teak

Hand crafted HTML Components built with TailwindCSS and AlpineJS.

TheComposableWeb

Resources for builders of the composable web.

National Day Food

Celebrate every day with food! National Day Food highlights all the fun National Food Days that exist.

Awesome 1 on 1s

Questions and resources to make your 1 on 1s more effective.

Retired Projects

These projects lived a good life. Though they're retired, their memory lives on.

SlicenPress

A web development service aimed at designers. Converting PSDs to HTML/CSS and WordPress. Originally launched as SlicenDice, then changed when we started focusing on WordPress.

This was by far the most successful project of the entire list, running for about 10 years. We built thousands of websites during that time - including a few Presidential Candidate sites ;)

Final Status: Closed down due to moving on to another full time role. The website is still live though.

FiveStarWP

A companion service to SlicenPress - this was created as a monthly service to manage WordPress site updates and support for our customers.

Final Status: Closed down with SlicenPress.

Gooey Templates

Sold app admin templates years ago - before Tailwind and Bootstrap and all the other JS frameworks. This was built to satisfy my own needs for a clean, ready to go admin theme for a web app.

Final Status: Closed down.

Favor Takeout

Sold wedding favors on an eCommerce site. This was in the early days of drop shipping. I wanted to get experience building an ecommerce website so we built this and ran it for awhile. We actually sold a decent amount of products.

One funny memory from this - we had a customer call us about an order and asked us how she could trust us? How did she know that we weren't just sitting in our living room running this website?

We weren't. We were in our dining room ;)

Final Status: Sold.

Source Threads

T-shirts for developers. This was an ecommerce site created to sell t-shirts to web developers. We had a few designs with funny sayings. The site was built on Shopify. Sadly it never truly launched. I still have some of the shirts though, let me know if you want one.

Final Status: Shuttered prior to launch.

Crunchy Melon & Living on Hawaii Time

These were both blogs that were short lived and created long ago. I really don't even remember the urls at this point but they were fun adventures so they'll make the list.

Final Status: Who knows!
